OUR TEAM
Steve Clausen
Steve Clausen has been the president and Owner of Excell Construction Services since 2009. Steve graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. After 16 successful years in the Waffle House restaurant business, as both a Vice President of Operations and a franchise owner, he decided to go back to his early love of construction and renovation. Steve maintained a focus on residential construction until the market fall in 2008, when early contacts allowed him to make the move into the commercial construction field. He progressed to forming his own general contracting (GC) company performing work in the South East States.
Jim Poulalion
Jim Poulalion is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Excell Construction Services. Jim is a Finance professional who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. Jim has over 27 years of experience in the industry and throughout Jim’s career he has held numerous positions in finance including Finance Director for the City of Sanford, FL, Chief Operating Officer for Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A., Deputy Finance Director for the City of Altamonte Springs Florida, and Chief Financial officer for midsize Construction firm in Georgia. In 2013 Jim furthered his career with Excell as our CFO.
Bob Burch
Bob is a project manager with Excell Construction Services and part of the team since 2016. Bob’s diverse 29 year professional career includes sales, marketing and account management. It began as Director of Sales and Marketing for Peachtree Data, a large data management firm based in Atlanta, GA.. Bob eventually transitioned into the senior living field and served as both Regional and National Account Manager for A Place for Mom. With Excell, Bob focuses primarily on business development, field support and project oversight.
